personality Despite her lessons to be charming, witty, and what her client wants, she is very opinionated and talkative. She believes that her word should be law and anyone who doesn't think so is an idiot. Many times she will go on spiels about her beliefs, and her most common subject: Clothes. She is a very high-maintenence person and barely has anytime to rest, as she is always on the go or with a client. Due to her beauty, she has become very big-headed, as people will always bend to her will, and will listen to her for hours on end because of it. She laughs quite often, finding most things to be just a game. She has been known to fake tears and interest to get her way and she won't hesitate to tell her mother on you.

appearance Danae has very long blonde hair and narrow blue eyes. She often tends to wear her hair in curls with large ribbons, as if she were a child. Her make up tends to be very light, and subtle while her dresses are large and elaborately made. She tends to wear a lot of large rings and long necklaces of gold and silver with large pendants. She walks with her nose held in the air and never has a problem with not looking too young or too shy. She sometimes carries around a fan to hide her face with while she is laughing or trying to intrigue a gentleman across the room. She doesn't ride horses, as they are too bumpy and make her nauseous. She'd much rather ride in the wagon and complain about the way the driver is doing his job.

History Danae's mother, Carolina, wasn’t always a courtesan and she sure wasn’t born in a place that were anywhere near a place of such a degradation. She started out in northern Kalria running errands for her parents who worked growing certain medicines. One day she was kidnapped and a couple of weeks later and she was dumped on the doorstep on a brothel owner and at the age of ten, Carolina started to learn the trade. Growing up in such a cold place of smeared lipstick and dirty money made her angry. She made a deal with the owner that if she could produce a person fit to take her place she could leave, free of charge.

A month later, a nobleman came in and caught her eye. She believed that he would pay her way out of this place and she could live off in some no name village to get rid of her past.. They became a ‘thing’ and soon Carolina was pregnant with Danae. Once the nobleman found it, he did something that only a man in with a reputation to protect would do: He hauled ass.

Distressed and angry, Carolina wanted to get rid of the child before she remember her deal with the owner. She was quite relieved to find that is was a girl and was determined to let her daughter take her place so that she could be free. She began lessons as soon as she could walk and as at the age of five she began singing lessons.

Danae grew up in the midst of all the men and women of the brothel owner and even at a young age she understood what was going on, though the meaning was a little hazy at first. She was bathed in gifts of toys and clothes from different countries as the men found her to be a “really cute kid.” She soon became spoiled and would often neglect her mother’s lessons in song and dance to see what else the customers could give to her. She received the book as a gift from a passerby as she was singing in her spare time. She didn’t notice that as soon as she touched the book she fell over and ruined one of her blue dresses.
